Who Has Visited Us?
I took the photo above in the
Kruger National Park
in July of this year (2012), when I was on holiday there with my family. It was the most special sighting of our Kruger visit. We sat in a hide overlooking this waterhole for nearly an hour, watching these magnificent animals as they drank water and then wallowed in the mud. I sat and clicked away with my camera, totally in awe of these gentle giants.
Sadly, there is a great chance that some, if not all, of these beauties have been killed by poachers in the few months since July. The rhinos in South Africa and the
Kruger National Park
are under attack, as are all the rhinos in the world.
Please help us to make a difference.

We HAVE To Save Our Rhinos!
For a brief overview, watch this video:
The Aim of this Project:
the children of South Africa and the rest of the world about these beautiful creatures.
among the children of the world as to the plight of these gentle giants.
the voices of the children of the world in asking the powers that be i.e. governments, organisations, institutions etc. to take IMMEDIATE action.
To try to
make a difference
in our world and in the future existence of the rhinos, for the future of our children
There are only FIVE species of rhino left in the world.
All five species are endangered and/or facing extinction.
If we don’t take REAL action NOW, our children’s children will not experience the beauty of the rhinoceros – they will all be gone. These defenseless animals are being inhumanely slaughtered by poachers.
Poaching has got to stop NOW!
The South African statistics are nothing short of devastating:
Killed in 2011 –
Killed in 2012 (as at end Dec 2012 - TBC) –
Killed in the Kruger National Park in 2012 -
Killed in 2013 -
Killed in the Kruger National Park in 2013 - 606
Killed in 2014 so far... -
as at 26 February,
of them in the Kruger National Park.
We feel it is our duty to do something and this is our effort to help our rhinos. Please help us in our quest.
