Makuluh has arrived! Although Makuluh had trouble finding us , he/she finally made it to Mrs. Brooks' house on Friday. Makuluh can't wait to join the boys and girls in Room 205 as they learn about the plight of Africa's rhinos and work together to inform the Davidson area about this problem.

Our Friend Mr. White
Mr. White came to our class today to share the beautiful photos he took on his last African adventure. He shared stories about the animals, the rhino trackers, and the different places he visited during his three week stay. He gave each child a photo of the rhino trackers holding the pictures we drew. He also brought back an amazing book used by the rhino trackers!!!! The books list information about the different rhinos - names, year born, home range, size, identifying marks, number of sightings, and offspring,The book is a gift to our class from the animal trackers! Sooo special!!!!!

With Much Love,
The Kids in Room 205

The following EMAIL was sent to OUR FRIEND MR. WHITE thanking him for the ANIMAL PICTURES we sent to the RHINO TRACKERS...

Dear Hugh
I hope this email finds you well?
Firstly I would like to apologise for the delay in answering your email. Has
been a hectic week at Save the Rhino Trust!
I believe that we sometimes have to stop and see the world through the eyes
of children. They are so intact with their inner self and mother earth, it's
almost magical. Please thank them for their nice letter and gifts they
provided the trackers with. It's rare that people actually thank the
trackers directly and I'm sure that the trackers indeed felt honoured. Thank
you for sharing the pictures with us. We will definitely make use of it on
our Website and Newsletters in the future to raise acute awareness around
the world. It is really with gestures like these that makes our lives saving
the rhino worthwhile.

With this I would like to wish you a blessed day ahead.
Kind regards

Lorraine
